If you think that Rebound is for you to find your next date, then you are on the wrong site!

Rebound is a Career Comeback program. While Rebound may not help you find your next date, we hope you will find new purpose in your career and life through our programs.

There is a gender disparity in the technology industry globally where women are considerably underrepresented in the tech industry.

Rebound is specially designed for women to help them step into careers that are tech related. It is also designed to help you start a venture centred on greater technology adoption.

Designed and delivered by TechSprint Academy (Malaysia’s first women only coding academy), and supported by The Asia Foundation, Rebound aims to help Malaysian women discover new career and economic opportunities in the 21st century.

In fact, between October 2020 and March 2021, Rebound has already run more than 20 programs, training and mentoring 445 women from across Malaysia.

We aim to help YOU be a part of the already growing community of women who are moving mindsets, challenging themselves and closing that gap!

So come join us to discover your new superpower!

Our Programs

Why Rebound?

Women often take career breaks for various reasons. The Covid-19 Pandemic has also brought about new challenges of livelihood. Women may not have the necessary technology skills to embrace this coming wave of new opportunities. Rebound can help you get back on your feet, reach new heights and explore new horizons.

About Rebound

Reboot Logo Design

This program aims to take the participants through a journey of self discovery, inform them of essentials they need to know and implement their ideas and design their own Personal Action Plan to put their plans into action.

Step Up Logo Design

A ‘next level’ program available for both Rebound graduates as well as women interested in acquiring specific tech skills at a beginner’s level in order to enable them to join entry level careers in the tech industry or use them for their venture.

Breakthrough Logo Design

Designed to give women the opportunity to learn skillsets that will propel them into a mainstream career in the tech industry as a Junior Developer.

Passionate & Experienced Individuals

Vani is a qualified accountant who has been actively involved in Project Management and entrepreneurship for over 25 years. Vani is a seasoned entrepreneur who has successfully co-founded and run ventures in the past including StartupMalaysia where she designs, develops and implements programs and projects that help young people become more entrepreneurial in their thinking. Vani co-founded TechSprint Academy in 2019 after realising the gender inequality in the tech industry and seeing that women need additional support to step into these careers which can give them flexibility as they juggle multiple commitments. Having taken a career break herself, Vani understood the challenges involved in making a successful career comeback and designed Rebound as a not-for profit initiative to help and support other women in their own journeys. Vani loves to read, travel and is also passionate about cooking.
